We collect personal data when a user contacts us via website forms, quote request forms, or through the Groweo service.

Information that can be collected includes, for example:

  • Name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • Company name and other company details
  • the time of the occasion and other information related to the occasion
  • Number of participants
  • special diets
  • User-provided message or additional information
  • Technical specifications related to website usage, such as cookie and analytics data

Special dietary information is processed solely for the purpose of organising an event, catering, or customer service.

3. For what purposes is personal data used?

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries
  • Processing of requests for proposals
  • Planning of parties, celebrations and other events
  • Customer service
  • Reservations and orders related communication

  • Measuring the results of advertising
  • potential advertising targeting based on user consent

4. Legal basis for processing

The processing of personal data is based on the situation, depending on:

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies can be used, for example, to ensure the website's functionality, measure website usage and track advertising performance.

We use the Cookiebot service for cookie management. Users can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the cookie banner and change or withdraw their consent at any time from the website's cookie settings.

Google Analytics (Google Consent Mode v2)

We use Google Analytics to analyse website visitor numbers and site usage. This data allows us to track things like which pages are being visited and how the site can be improved.

  • Analytics cookies and consent: Google Analytics writes and reads analytics cookies only if the user has given explicit consent in the cookie banner.
  • Cookie-less measurement (Advanced Consent Mode): If the user rejects analytics cookies, cookie-less measurement will be used on the website (Google Consent Mode v2). In this case, no cookies or device identifiers will be stored on the browser, and only anonymised, cookie-less signals will be sent to Google Analytics to assess visitor numbers and website performance without identifying the user.

Google Signals is not enabled.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads to measure advertising results. Google Ads can be used, for example, to track whether a user has made contact, submitted a form, or performed another action defined on the site.

Google Ads can also be used for remarketing later, based on the user's consent.

The Enhanced Conversions feature is not currently enabled.

Groweo

The website uses the Groweo service for purposes such as collecting contact details and quotation requests. Through Groweo, users can provide us with information such as their name, email address, phone number, company details, event details, and special dietary requirements.

Information provided through Groweon is processed to respond to inquiries, process quote requests, and manage customer service.

6. Data recipients and service providers

Personal data may be processed using the following services and providers:

  • Website maintenance and hosting services
  • WordPress and form services used on websites
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Ads
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Cookiebot
  • Groweo
  • email services and other customer service-related systems

Service providers process personal data only to the extent necessary for the provision of services.

7. Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

Some of the service providers we use, such as Google, may process data outside the EU or EEA.

In such cases, appropriate safeguards shall be used for the transfer of data, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other mechanisms required by data protection legislation.

8. Data retention periods

We only retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this statement or as required by law.

Recommended storage times:

  • enquiries and requests for quotation: maximum 24 months
  • information related to realised customer relationships, bookings and opportunities: maximum 5 years, unless longer retention is required for reasons such as accounting, contracts or complaints
  • Information relating to accounting records: in accordance with the Accounting Act
  • Cookie consent: In accordance with Cookiebot's settings, usually a maximum of 12 months
  • Google Analytics event data: According to Google Analytics settings, a maximum of 14 months

Unnecessary data is deleted or anonymised when there is no longer a basis for its retention.

9. Registered person's rights

Under data protection legislation, you have the right to:

  • to get information about whether we process your personal data
  • Request access to your own data
  • request correction of incorrect information
  • Request for data deletion
  • Request for restriction of processing
  • to object to the processing of personal data in certain situations
  • withdraw your consent
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

In Finland, the supervisory authority is Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.

10. Withdrawing consent

You can change your consent regarding cookies and analytics from the site's cookie settings.

If you withdraw your consent, it does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
